FESTA MAJOR SANT QUIRZE DEL VALLÈS 2012

Un cop més encetem el setembre amb la nostra esperada festa major. Enguany el nostre Feliu ha fet els seus 10 anys amb nosaltres. Cal destacar la presència dels seus padrins, les colles de Gràcia de Sabadell i Sant Andreu de la Barca, juntament amb les colles de Sant Vicenç de Castellet, el Prat de Llobregat, Sant Vicenç dels Horts, el Bisbalet d’Igualada, el barri de Sant Josep de l’Hospitalet, la Concòrdia, la Llacuna i les Fonts. Pels volts de les 6.00 de la tarda les colles es plantaren a l’avinguda Lluís Companys. A les 7.00 tocades, arrencava la cercavila encapçalada per la nostra colla.

Després d’una hora de recorregut, les colles es dirigiren al parc de les Morisques, on es farien els actes de festeig de l’aniversari del nostre entrany

able gegant. Com és costum, una per una, les colles oferien els seus balls de lluïment a un públic força nombrós que ocupava les graderies onejant les banderetes fetes exclusivament per aquest dia tant assenyalat. Arribà el gran moment, el nostre president, el president honorífic i l’alcaldessa de Sant Quirze imposaren la banda d’aniversari al Feliu amb la presència dels seus padrins. Guarnit amb la banda, els tres gegants estrenaren un nou ball amb coreografia pròpia. Per acabar la jornada totes les colles s’ajuntaren per fer el ball final i cap al sopar. Embotit, beguda, música i ganes de seguir la festa fins que el cos digués prou. Abans de seguir ballant, per sorpresa aparegué el gegantí pastís d’aniversari, que de ben segur, ningú es va quedar sense. Aprofitem la ocasió per agraïr la participació de totes les colles, a les autoritats i a la ciutadania per haver-nos acompanyat durant aquest dia tant especial per nosaltres.
